Patagonia berries
Overview
Patagonia Berries crafts artisanal jams using premium berries from Patagonia. The brand needed a modern and authentic website to showcase its products and story, making it easier for consumers to discover them online and connect with the artisanal quality behind each jar.
This project came to me as a recommendation from the owner of KIKE Coffee Shop, who is also the owner of Familia Cabrales.

Role & Tools Used
Role
Lead Designer & Developer
Defined the brand’s digital identity through design and implementation
Built a clean, storytelling-driven interface highlighting authenticity
Developed the site with responsive layouts and performance optimization
Tools
Figma (UI/UX design, layout iterations)
Illustrator (brand elements & icons)
HTML, CSS, JS (hand-coded, project built with support from Cursor)
Core Problem
Despite the quality of its products, Patagonia Berries lacked a digital presence. This made it difficult for customers to discover the brand and connect with its artisanal story. The challenge was to create a website that felt natural and authentic, while being intuitive and easy to navigate.
Constraints
The project was developed with a limited budget and the priority was to highlight authenticity and storytelling rather than building complex features.
Solution
The project followed a storytelling-first approach:
Authentic design language: natural color palette and elegant typography to reflect Patagonia’s artisanal spirit.
Product-focused pages: showcasing each jam variety with descriptions and high-quality imagery.
Storytelling elements: “Our Story” page to connect emotionally with consumers.
Lightweight implementation: site built with HTML, CSS, and JS, ensuring performance and full responsiveness.
Process
1) Understanding the Brand
I immersed myself in the philosophy of artisanal production. The design had to feel natural, premium, and close to the origin of the product.
2) Visual Design
Created a clean, minimal UI that used earthy tones, premium fonts, and generous whitespace to highlight the quality of the jams.

3) Product Showcase
Designed dedicated sections for each jam variety, emphasizing visuals and descriptive storytelling.
4) Implementation
The site was built with HTML, CSS, and JS, coded with the support of Cursor, ensuring a lightweight, responsive, and polished experience.

Results
Stronger brand perception, associating digital presence with artisanal quality.
Increased customer inquiries through the contact form.
Improved online visibility, making Patagonia Berries discoverable to a wider audience.
Conclusion
Translating authentic brand values into digital creates a deeper emotional connection with consumers.
Even a simple, storytelling-driven website can deliver strong business impact.
Patagonia Berries’ digital presence now aligns with its artisanal philosophy, laying the foundation for future growth.
